
Kelly King has been involved in swimming her entire life as a competitor, coach, and instructor. Kelly is a Level 2 American Swim Coaches Association and USA Swimming certified swim coach as well as an American Red Cross certified Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor Trainer. She has 20 years of coaching and instructor experience with youth and adults of various swimming abilities and also works full time for the City of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Department as an Aquatics Specialist overseeing swim instruction and aquatics certification programs. Kelly is a member of the Southern Nevada Aquatics Committee and Southern Nevada Child Drowning Prevention Coalition which seek to educate the public about drowning prevention and the importance of learning how to swim. Kelly received her Masters of Science in Recreation Administration from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
